Third-Party Payer Services
We have extensive experience with the reality and needs of third-party payers. It is our mission to support your insured, compensated workers in their recovery process by offering them quality care and effective tools to make their return to work a long-lasting success.
Joint and individual programs in occupational therapy and/or kinesiology are available to ensure an effective and sustainable return to health for your workers on sick leave. We accept mandates from government institutions, private disability insurers, and employers.
These programs include prompt care, an initial assessment in the necessary disciplines, personalized interventions tailored to each individual's needs, as well as file coordination and report writing.
Our kinesiologists also offer physical rehabilitation services addressing needs such as cardiovascular rehabilitation, chronic condition management, and injuries related to accidents or repetitive strain injuries.
These programs include prompt care, an adapted initial assessment, the delivery of a customized exercise plan, personalized interventions tailored to each individual, as well as file coordination and report writing.
The services are offered in private consultation at our offices, outdoors (using surrounding parks), or at home (travel fees apply). A videoconference service is also available.
The services offered cover the territory of the northern suburbs of Montreal (Laval, Lower Laurentians, and southern Lanaudière) as well as the east of Montreal. Please note that travel fees may be charged depending on the distance to be covered.
What types of referrals do you accept?
We accept referrals from private disability insurers, CNESST, SAAQ, IVAC, as well as employers. Our services cover mental health conditions, physical conditions requiring functional rehabilitation, and chronic metabolic health conditions such as type 2 diabetes, fatty liver disease, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases.
What is the role of occupational therapy and kinesiology in work rehabilitation?
The occupational therapist evaluates the functional impacts of a condition on daily life and work, and intervenes to develop the tools needed for a sustainable return. The kinesiologist focuses on progressive physical reconditioning and functional activation. Both disciplines can be coordinated within a shared care plan to provide comprehensive and consistent support.
How do we measure your clients’ progress?
Progress is documented regularly throughout the course of treatment. We produce structured clinical reports outlining functional improvement, achieved goals, and upcoming steps. This documentation ensures transparent and effective communication with all parties involved in the file.
What territory do we cover?
Our services are offered primarily at our Mascouche clinic and by videoconference. We serve Montreal’s North Shore, including Laval, the Lower Laurentians, southern Lanaudière, as well as East Montreal. In-home interventions may be possible in certain cases, with travel fees depending on the distance.
How does the intake process for a new file work?
Upon receiving a referral, our administrative assistant contacts the client within a maximum of 48 hours to arrange the first appointments. Our goal is to begin care with our professionals within two weeks. Follow-up is provided to the referring party to confirm the initial appointments, and a post-assessment call is organized to review first clinical impressions and the next steps. Throughout the process, we ensure file coordination and the preparation of structured reports.
Do your professionals understand the reality of insurers?
Yes, and this is an important part of how we work. One of our owners worked for more than 11 years in the disability insurance field. She has a strong understanding of budgetary considerations, objectives tied to contractual definitions, and the day-to-day reality of case managers and rehabilitation consultants. This experience is reflected in the way we document, communicate, and orient our interventions toward measurable functional goals and a sustainable return to work. We understand the importance of clear and effective communication with all parties involved in a file.
